The BMW brand recently reported their sales results for July and the first seven months of 2015. Throughout the year thus far, BMW has sold a total of 195,593 units, a 6.4 percent increased compared to the 183,791 units sold during these same months in 2014. Additionally, in the month of July alone, 26,970 units were sold, which is a 2.1 percent increase over last July’s total of 26,409 units.
“July kept the momentum going that we’ve seen throughout the year, producing another strong result for BMW and clearly showing the trend toward our luxury Sports Activity Vehicles”, said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America. “Now we’re looking forward to the new model introductions of the months ahead including the new 7 Series, the new X1, and the refreshed 3 Series.”
BMW July Sales:
- Sales of the i3 increased by 158 percent with 935 units
- Sales of the i8 reached 217 units
- Sales of the 3 Series reached 7,729 units
- Sales of the 4 Series reached 3,190 units
- Sales of the 6 Series reached 311 units
- Sales of the 7 Series increased by 68.4 percent with 916 units
- Sales of the Z4 reached 118 units
- Sales of the X1 increased by 18.5 percent with 1,189 units
- Sales of the X3 increased by 49.5 percent with 2,340 units
- Sales of the X4 increased by 28 percent with 407 units
- Sales of the X5 increased by 123.6 percent with 6,011 units
