The first ever 2015 BMW M4 proved itself to be a worthy part of the BMW M family. It did this by making its way through an exciting and unique course created almost completely out of current and classic BMW M vehicles that were donated from fans. BMW M vehicles from every generation were provided by owners from all over the country to be part of this experience.

The vehicles were arranged together to form the shape of the M series logo, and precision drivers Matt Mullins and Chris Forsberg drove the new M4 around it in an exhilarating fashion. You’re going to be amazed when you watch the video of it above.

You can get your 2015 BMW M4 at Flemington BMW where we serve Flemington, Clinton, Lambertville and Hopewell, NJ.

The 2014 BMW 4-Series convertible will be getting M Performance parts. Buyers will be able to get a vehicle with visual upgrades and an impressive increase in performance. The 4-Series coupe was the second latest version of the line-up to receive these parts.

The M Performance accessories were developed by the engineers at BMW M, so they are held to the same standards of those used on the dedicated M cars. In sum, they will upgrade the convertible to a middle ground between the 4-Series and the BMW M.

The 4-Series convertible will be able to come with items such as mechanical limited-slip differential, upgraded brakes, a sports exhaust and lowered suspension. Together they will give the vehicle more personality.

BMW had an impressive day at the races.  Placing first place at the 2014 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, 2013 Street Tuner Champions Terry Borcheller and Mike Lamarra raced to their first victory ever in the No. 23 Burton Racing BMW 128i during last Saturday’s 2.5 hour race.  The race took place at Road American in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.  BMW drivers (all in 328i machines)  also took 5th-8th place. These results solidify BMW’s place at the top of the Manufacturer’s Points Standings.

“We’ve been closing in on the podium throughout the season and got very close to a win at Indy,” said Keith Burton, Burton Racing Team Principal. “It is extremely satisfying to win here at Road America and validates all of our hard work this year. I believe we are back in a position where we can fight for another championship for BMW.”

In the Grand Sport class, the No. 46 Fall-Line Motorsport BMW M3 of John Edwards and Trent Hindman finished fourth to keep 18-year old Hindman at the top of the GS driver’s championship. The car started from the pole and led 18 laps of the 54 lap contest, only 1.768 seconds separating the car from the winner at the checkered flag. The next best finishing BMW M3 was the No. 97 Turner Motorsport car of Tom Kimber-Smith and Michael Marsal in 13th.

“Congratulations to Mike and Terry and the entire Burton Racing team on their return to the podium and their first Street Tuner win of the season,” said Gordon McDonnell, BMWNA Motorsport Manager. “In Grand Sport, both John and Trent put up a great fight in the Fall-Line Motorsport BMW M3 to finish fourth, but the new Camaro seems to have a distinct advantage in the class.”

You can watch this race on FOX Sports 1 at 12:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, August, 17th.

Popular in the U.S. market during the 1970s and ‘80s, diesel cars disappeared once emissions regulations tightened.   Today, diesel cars’ eco-friendly modern counterpart  are making a comeback.  BMW, like many other luxury car companies, has developed its own diesel car, the BMW 535d.  These new diesels are not only a blast to drive but are much greener than their predecessors.

When BMW updated the 5-Series for 2014, they added this new diesel to the mix.  With both power–it has a 3.0 liter in-line six-cylinder engine with 255 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque– and efficiency–26 mpg city, 38 mpg highway– it seems silly to even consider its gas-powered counterpart, the 535I.  the 535d consumes 25 percent less gas than the 535i.

It doesn’t stop at just powerful and efficient.  The 535d is also a thing of beauty.  Inside, it boasts refined features including a panoramic moonroof, a 10.2 inch navigation screen, and iDrive controller with a new touch pad.

The 535d starts at $57,525 but you can spring for plenty of upgrades that will bring your total closer to 66,425.  Of all the new luxury diesel options available right now, this is certainly a top contender.

July proved to be an outstanding month for BMW. Sales increased 908 percent in July for a total of 26,409 compared to 24,043 in July of last year. The BMW Group’s sales are up 11.7 percent Year-to-date.

“The sales momentum that’s been building all year reached its year-to-date peak in July, setting a new BMW record for the month,” said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America.  “There’s certainly more to come, especially with the new X4 and 4 Series Gran Coupe now hitting the market and our revolutionary hybrid-electric BMW i8 on the horizon.”

Year-to-date, the BMW Group is up 5.4 percent on sales of 213,754 vehicles in the first seven months of 2014 compared to 202,780 over the same period in 2013.
