BMW Officially Announces Pricing and Range for 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive.

• Base MSRP $61,500 plus $1,350 destination and handling.

Woodcliff Lake, NJ – May 7, 2026… Today, BMW is proud to announce the base price of the 2027 BMW iX3 50 xDrive – the first series-production Neue Klasse model – will be $61,500 plus $1,350 destination and handling when it enters the US market in September of this year. For that price, customers can acquire a very well equipped, fully electric BMW SAV capable of up to 434 miles of range on a full charge. Even at the starting price, the iX3 brings the pioneering Panoramic iDrive user experience powered by BMW Operating System X, class-leading driving dynamics enabled by the Heart of Joy superbrain, and an 800V architecture that allows up to 400 kW charging at DC fast charging stations.

The Build Your Own configurator is now live on bmwusa.com. Customers can design their ideal 2027 iX3 50 xDrive and then reserve their vehicle through their preferred retail center with a $1,000 deposit via the portal on the website. Deliveries are set to commence in late September.

Exceptional electric range and super-fast charging. 

The iX3 utilizes sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology comprised of highly efficient electric motors, fundamentally new high-voltage batteries with more energy-dense cylindrical cells, and an 800V architecture. This drive technology reduces energy losses by 40% compared to fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, weight by 10%, and manufacturing costs by 20%.

A maximum charging rate of 400 kW enables customers to add an estimated 185 miles of range in just 10 minutes or charge from 10 to 80% capacity in just 21 minutes at an 800V DC charging station via the standard NACS port.
