We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support during this difficult time. Like many of you, our family here at Flemington BMW feels the weight of the current situation and we’re doing everything we can to ensure that we are here for our customers in their time of need. In compliance with the Governor’s directive, in-store new and used car sales have been put on pause. But we assure you that we are still going above and beyond to assist our customers.

With that being said, service and parts departments have been deemed essential services and our departments will remain open to assist you with any needs your vehicle may need in the weeks to come. If you are in need of service, please contact us via phone at 833-941-1332 or schedule your appointment online through our website at https://www.flemingtonbmw.com/serviceappmt.html. Urgent service matters will take precedence, but we will accommodate all.

We understand that this is a very trying time but keeping your vehicle healthy is crucial. We encourage you to schedule a service appointment with our team online today or you can give us a call to choose a convenient time that best fits your schedule. You can schedule below.

However, new and used car sales needs will continue to be served through the internet, phone & text as members of our team will be working remotely. As always, we will do everything in our power to serve your vehicle transportation needs in a safe and responsible way. Our official statement is linked here

We are all in this together and we look forward to serving you.

Spring is here and so are our spring driving tips! Take a look at them below and be sure to put them to good use this spring season whether your travels are going to take you near or far! And if you’re ready to upgrade and adventure in a new BMW, come see our team this March!

Share the road with others

  • Spring is known for warm temperatures and everyone’s excited to get outside and feel a little warmth. With that being said, we need to be mindful that we’re once again sharing the road with others including animals, children, and motorcyclists. Be attentive that there’s a lot going on around you now and slow down if necessary.

Spring showers bring spring flooding

  • It’s no secret that spring seems to be the wettest season of them all. And when it first starts to rain, that’s when the roads are most slippery. Why? Well, from oil and grease on the road mixed with water, the road becomes slippery. So, decrease your speed and increase your following distance.

Inspect your tires

  • As we said, spring is known for rain and if your tires are old and worn, you’re putting yourself in a dangerous situation due to improper tire tread mixed with wet roads. It’s important to inspect your tires, maintain proper PSI levels, and replace your tires when it’s needed.

Keep an eye out for potholes

  • Potholes are horrible and in the springtime, they seem to be at their worst. It’s very important to slow down and keep an eye out for them because they can and will cause expensive damage to your vehicle including bent wheels, punctured tires, poor alignment, suspension damage, and more!

Being behind the wheel of a BMW means that you need to know what will help you get the most out of that vehicle. This week we want to talk about how driving on empty can cause damage to your vehicle and how far you can drive when your fuel light illuminates. Check it out below and if you have further questions, stop in to see our team today! We are more than happy to help you and answer any questions you may have about your BMW’s efficiency or about it in general. We hope to see you soon!

How far can I drive on empty?

  • Depending on your driving habits, current conditions, and your vehicle really results in how far you can drive once your empty fuel light illuminates. You may be surprised how few miles you can travel once your light is on and we recommend reading your owner’s manual for answers. And also, don’t push it. It’s better to fill up the tank when you only have ¼ of a tank left!

Is it dangerous to drive with the low fuel warning light on?

  • When this light illuminates, you’re starting to run the chance that your vehicle could run out of gas, which is not only a hassle but it puts you into a dangerous situation especially if you’re out on the highway or in remote locations.
  • It’s also dangerous for your vehicle. Running low or completely out of gas can cause damage to your catalytic converter which may need to be repaired or replaced. When you run low on fuel, the contaminants or debris that have sunk to the bottom of your tank are now being sucked into your fuel pump. This can also cause issues that will end up being expensive to repair.

How trusty is your distance to empty?

  • Most modern vehicles have a distance to empty gauge but this is a dangerous practice if you try to wait until the very last mile. The distance to empty is simply a mere estimate and not a definitive answer to how many miles you have left. So depending on current driving conditions, the actual mileage could vary.

For the second year in a row, Flemington BMW has been named Dealer of the Year! We’re truly speechless! We couldn’t have done this without the help and loyalty of our customers. So THANK YOU! We appreciate each and every person who chooses Flemington BMW as their dealer. We’ve also been awarded the Customer Satisfaction Award! Again, THANK YOU! We strive every day to offer our customers the very best and we’re happy to see it paying off! Below is some information on how these awards are chosen. Want to see what makes us different? Stop in today and let us show you how Flemington BMW does things!

Dealer of the Year Awards

DealerRater’s Dealer of the Year Award Program recognizes a select number of car dealerships throughout the United States and Canada for outstanding customer satisfaction as expressed through customers’ online reviews posted on DealerRater.

The Dealer of the Year Awards will be given to car dealerships that have the highest PowerScore™ in their brand category, both at national and state/provincial levels.

Each dealership’s PowerScore will be calculated using a Bayesian algorithm that considers the dealership’s average DealerRater star rating as well as the total number of reviews written about the dealership during that calendar year.

To be considered for the Dealer of the Year Awards a dealership must have:

  • Minimum of 25 reviews on DealerRater for the calendar year
  • Average minimum star rating of 4.0 on DealerRater, with 5.0 as the highest possible rating
  • At least one review on DealerRater per quarter during the calendar year
  • Must not have been blacklisted within the calendar year

Consumer Satisfaction Awards

The Consumer Satisfaction Awards represent an expansion of our annual recognition program for top car dealerships in the U.S. and Canada. The program is intended to complement our annual Dealer of the Year Award.

Consumer Satisfaction Award recipients must meet the same requirements as the Dealer of the Year program as described above. The Consumer Satisfaction Awards are given to the following:

  • Top 10% U.S. franchise dealers based on their PowerScore
  • Top U.S. used car dealerships based on their PowerScore
  • Top Canadian car dealerships based on their PowerScore

Thinking of ways to keep you BMW happy and healthy during this winter season? Don’t stress. Just follow our tips below to ensure the health of your BMW these next few months! Whether you’ve stayed on top of your routine maintenance or you’ve forgotten about it, we encourage you to stop in and schedule a service appointment to have your ride checked up on! Let’s get started!

  • Swap out regular tires for tires designed for winter weather. Snow or not, if you will be traveling to areas where the temperatures fall below 45 degrees, you’ll want to have winter tires. These tires are designed to give better traction while traveling on the cold pavement.
  • Check your tire pressure regularly. Driving around on uninflated tires can cause them to wear at a quicker rate and will affect the traction on slippery surfaces. With every 10-degree drop, your tires will lose a pound of pressure.
  • Always keep a half tank full of gas. No matter the weather it’s a great idea to ensure that you have enough gas in case of an emergency. This is especially in the winter as winter weather starts to take a toll on our vehicles and we could end up in a snowy situation.
  • Add a protective layer to your vehicle. Salt, grime, snow, sleet, and more can cause damage to your vehicle. We recommend adding a coat of polymer wax to create a buffer to keep your vehicle safe. Also, wash off any buildup after winter storms.
  • Protect your wipers at all costs. When parking outdoors, leave your wipers raised to prevent them from freezing to your windshield. And never use your wipers to remove snow or ice from your windshield, use an ice scraper instead.
