Trim level options available on this model are the sDrive28i, xDrive28i, xDrive 28d and xDrive35i. Models are powered by one of three engines, either a 240 hp 2.0L TwinTurbo Engine, a 180 hp 2.0L TwinTurbo Engine or a 300 hp 3.0L TwinTurbo engine. The BMW X3 models come standard with a 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission with Sport and Manual shift modes and Adaptive Transmission Control (ATC).
Standard and available features found on the 2015 BMW X3 include Automatic-Locking Retractors (ALR), BMW Assist eCall™, Integrated Universal Garage-Door Opener, HD Radio™ and Available Hill Descent Control (HDC).
