The Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners agency is helping to promote BMW with a new social campaign and website named “Snowchat”. It was inspired by snapchat, the highly popular application that is used by millions of people.
The site features the new BMW X4, which is aimed at a younger market demographic. The website lets people wipe away the windshield and draw different shapes and messages. It can then be shared across social media sites like Facebook or Twitter. Like Snapchat, the image will disappear after 5 seconds.
“We wanted to keep it very simple and tap into behavior that’s already out there with people who are online and using their phones,” said Paul Renner, executive creative director at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal.
