After four years away, BMW is returning to the Super Bowl with a new commercial for the Big Game featuring the all-electric BMW i3. The new commercial will be a 60-second spot that will air sometime during the game’s first quarter on Sunday, February 1, 2015.
WIth the BMW i line, the brand is looking to create vehicles that better support sustainability, while improving the environment and assisting with many of the transportation problems seen in some the the world’s more heavily populated cities.
“As one in three Americans will tune in to watch the Super Bowl, we are thrilled to use this platform to educate viewers on the importance of electric mobility,” said Trudy Hardy, Vice President of Marketing, BMW of North America. “Big ideas like the BMW i3 take a little getting used to, and the creative idea surrounding our spot will play on this analogy.”
