Gerry Nasution from Indonesia shares his story in the latest episode of the series. Nasution has a unique story to tell as his is about a long journey that he has taken with one particular BMW model. Seven years ago he purchased a 1985 BMW 316 E30 production model and over the years he and his team have worked to modify it, turning it into a modern racing car. BMW Group Sales are Still Up from Last Year

Trending vehicle sales increased with the BMW X3 which saw a whopping 88.1-percent. The BMW X5 also witnessed an increase of 27.9-percent along with the BMW 2 Series which increased by 1,258 cars.

The notable vehicles that were included in the sales report were the following: BMW X3 – which had increased by a whopping 88.1 percent, the BMW X5 – which has also increased by 27.9 percent, and finally the BMW 2 Series – which has increased overall sales by 1,258 vehicles.

Fall Car Care Month: Taking care of your BMW

BMW was recently honored at the 2015 Energy Storage North America (ESNA) Conference. The BMW i ChargeForward Project was the recipient of the 2015 ESNA Innovation Award for its Unique EV Battery Second Life Energy Storage System.

The all-new BMW 7 Series is set to be officially released on October 24, 2015 and in anticipation of this event, BMW teamed up with Uber this past weekend to offer customers in select cities an exclusive on-demand test drive or a chauffeured ride.
“With our new 7 Series being the most innovative vehicle in its class, it’s only fitting that we partnered with Uber to offer a unique and exciting way to experience our flagship model prior to retail launch,” said Jason Chan, 6 & 7 Series Product Manager for BMW of North America.
Throughout Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 Uber users who live in New York, NY; Miami, FL; Los Angeles, CA and Chicago, IL were offered the opportunity set up an on-demand test drive of this model by using the Uber app. Then on October 19, 2015 those same users were offered the chance to take a free ride in the new 7 Series as they were driven to their destination by a BMW Product Specialist.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the launch of the BMW 7 Series than by offering Uber riders the unique chance to upgrade their ride and are thrilled to partner with BMW on this first-of-a-kind experience,” said Amy Friedlander Hoffman, Head of Business Development and Experiential Marketing at Uber.
