In the years since the beginning of the BMW brand there have been a wide variety of vehicles that have been produced by this legendary auto company. Along with the many production models developed there have also been many concept vehicles developed as well. Some of the concepts did eventually make it into mainstream production, others however never made it out of the innovative concept stage. In continuing on with our look through the many unique concepts that were never produced we now take a look at the GINA.
The GINA was designed back in 2009 to be a vehicle that would stand out and inspire BMW drivers in the creation and development of future model. The uniquely futuristic design of this concept was created by Chris Bangle Chief of Design. What makes this model truly unique is that is its outer shell was made entirely out of fabric giving the exterior a while different type of look. While the GINA was never driven into production, BMW did state that within the next decade the fabric exterior could be seen on future production models.
