Edmunds.com has announced the winners of their annual Best Retained Value® Awards. These awards are designed to recognize the vehicles in each category that have the highest projected private party residual value after the first five years following its release. Edmunds presents both brand level awards and awards in each of their 24 segments which include all automotive brands. The projected value for each vehicle is presented as a percentage of their average True Market Value (TMV) and an estimated 15,000 miles traveled per year.

For the 2016 Best Retained Value® Awards the BMW M3 was selected as the top choice in the Midrange Luxury Car category, beating out competitors such as the Lexus GS 350 and Jaguar XF. This model earned a Retained value percentage of 50.1 percent which is well above the category average of 42.6 percent.

The 2017 BMW M3 is not expected to be released until sometime early next year but be sure to check back here to find out more information on when it will be available here at Flemington BMW!
