Anniversaries are meant to be celebrated, especially if it’s a 40 year anniversary of a BMW flagship vehicle. The special “40 Years Edition” of the BMW 3 Series Touring will be unveiled at a special event in Florence, Italy. Unfortunately for American drivers, the 100 limited edition units will only be sold in Italy. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have a look at what makes this edition special.
The BMW320d Touring 40 Years Edition will have a Merino Opal White leather interior with contrasting black stitching and Piano Black trim. The exterior will come in a gorgeous Tanzanite Blue that is reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. Under the hood is a 2.0L BMW TwinTurbo engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission which can achieve 190 hp. It will also include 19” alloy wheels, a brushed aluminum “40 Years Edition” badge with serial number, the M Sport Package, and a Piquadro travel luggage set.
