BMW recently released sales numbers for December 2014 showing a total of 41,526 units sold for the month, an increase of nearly 5,000 units compared to December 2013. Additionally, YTD BMW sales increased by 9.8% over 2013 with a total of 339,738 units sold for the year.
“The record result in 2014 for BMW proves that solid growth is still possible when you have the right products that provide good value for the customer,” said Ludwig Willisch, President and CEO, BMW of North America. “The increases across the BMW line make us optimistic about what’s possible in 2015.”
BMW Highlights:
- Sales of the 3 Series and 4 Series increased by 16.3% with 19,464 units sold
- YTD sales of the X5 increase by 18.1% with 182,219 units sold for the year
- Overall passenger car sales increased by 1.1% with 31,355 units sold for December
- Overall light truck sales increased 59.4% with 10,171 units sold for December
