The first-ever BMW 3 Series model was launched back in 1975 as a replacement for the outgoing BMW 02 and mode a bold statement with its sportier look and feel and smooth, agile handling. Over the years, the 3 Series has continued to evolve with more advanced technology and heightening its level of premium luxury.
Since its initial introduction, the BMW 3 Series has officially become the best-selling BMW model ever with over 14 million units sold. This total accounts for approximately 25 percent of total BMW vehicle sales, making the BMW 3 Series Sedan and Touring the most successful model range for BMW.
