The BMW M4 was recently put up against the Jaguar F-Type in a drifting event by UK magazine Auto Express. While the two vehicle may have similar features such as a retractable roof they are each designed with a very different motoring philosophy.
The BMW M4 Convertible is powered by a 425 hp 3.0L BMW M TwinPower Turbo Inline six-cylinder engine. This model also comes with two mono-scroll turbochargers with variable valve control (Double-VANOS and Valvetronic) and high-precision direct injection and has the ability to go from 0-60 in just 3.9 seconds.
The Jaguar F-Type on the other hand os powered by a 340 hp supercharged 3.0L engine and can go from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.
Check out the video above to see the impressive drifting performance put on by these models and see how the difference in power and speed plays out on the track.
